Grand Opening of the Lebanon Valley Farmers’ Market

Sunday, July 4th will be the Grand Opening of the Lebanon Valley Farmers’ Market, operating every weekend from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mid-Town Mall in the heart of New Lebanon.  The Market will run all summer and through the Autumn harvest, ending in October.

Town Historian and LVHS Director Kevin Fuerst will help the Market and the community celebrate the holiday with a talk on the history around the time of the Declaration of Independence.  The Market will also provide a tent with chairs for townspeople to share their own stories about this holiday.
Grand Opening events schedule:

10:00 AM Official vine cutting with Town officials and representatives of the Lebanon Valley Business Association

10:15 AM Pygmy goat milking demonstration

Noon Ice cream social

1:00 PM Historian’s talk

And, of course, opportunities to buy wonderful local produce, herbs, meats, flowers, crafts, breads and pastries!

The Lebanon Valley Farmers’ Market invites everyone to come and be a part of the celebration.
