Split Cherry Tomato Sauce

This is more of a concept then a recipe, and as the cherry tomatoes become more and more prolific it is one of my favorite ways to use up the split fruits, though whole cherry tomatoes also work.
Roast Cherry Tomatoes in the oven until soft
Roast several cloves of garlic wrapped in foil.
Let cool 5 minutes.
Peal garlic. Combine with cherry tomatoes and basil in a blender or food processer. Process in small batches until smooth.
Great over past with cooked greens. Great to throw in the freezer for the winter months.
